The War Cradle
The War Cradle is about "the tens of thousands of children in Vietnam left to wander the country aimlessly." It tells of the events leading up to the last days of the Vietnam War, as well as Operation Babylift. The book contains about a dozen pages of black and white photos from Operation Babylift as well as some correspondence.
The "Aftermath" section of the book contains the words and writings of several Vietnamese adoptees; featured are Huyen Friedlander Brannan, Stacy Thuy Meredith, Tuy Buckner, Tuan-Rishard F. Schneider, Jared Rehberg, Kimberly Brinker, and Joshua Woerthwein (VAN's Co-Director).
